There has been catastrophe in the name of an earthquake off Turkey’s Aegean coast and north of the Greek island of Samos, reaching the capital Athens today, October 30.
The tremor of 7.0 magnitude was centered off Turkey’s Izmir province and it was felt as far away as Athens and Istanbul, US Geological Survey (USGS) said
Shortly after the earthquake hit, Turkish officials said at least 6 buildings collapsed in the western Turkish city of Izmir. Killing so many and some badly wounded.
