Body of teenage girl swept away by Lagos flood has been found.(Photo)

Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA officials in Lagos announced yesterday that they have found the body of a missing 17-year-old girl, identified as Ayisat, who was washed away by flood on Monday June 22.

 The state emergency management agency (LASEMA) was alerted of the incident after the torrential rains and the teenager was declared missing.

It was told that the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA officials commenced a search of all major and minor drains and drainage canals in Surulere Lagos.

Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, later said Ayisat’s dead body and was later found in the Onilegogoro canal, Surulere, Lagos, at about 8.30am on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, and had been buried by the community members beside the canal.
