British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s car was struck from behind by another vehicle in his convoy Wednesday, leaving a large dent in the politician’s silver Jaguar.
As he ran into the road in front of the prime minister’s convoy near parliament Square. The protester, who had been protesting about Turkish action against Kurdish rebels, targeted the convoy as it left the Palace of Westminster, forcing the vehicles to stop abruptly. Police detained a man after he appeared to run in front of Boris Johnson’s Vehicle
Johnson was in the car at the time of the incident, an official with Downing Street confirmed. The prime minister’s office confirmed as well, Johnson was in the car and that there were no reports of injuries.
The dent was visible in the back of Johnson’s car as it drove away shortly after the crash.
