Bebu Abiodun , 35, has been accused of brutalising his pregnant wife, Aderonke Adeymi, in Ondo State. Man was said to have treated his Wife in a savage and violent way, out of anger following her alleged refusal to abort a three-month-old pregnancy.
The incident happened at Ode-Irele in Irele Local Government Area of Ondo state on Saturday evening. Wife 33-year-old also mother of one was said to have been rushed to a private hospital in the town.
Two younger brothers of the battered woman, Banjo Adewole and Ezekiel Adewole, narrated. That there was no week since the marriage that a fight hasn’t occurred.
“We always have settled issues for them because there is no perfect marriage but her sin this time around was her refusal to abort her three-month-old pregnancy which she had for Abiodun her husband.
“She told me that her husband even tried to remove the fetus himself and threatened to kill her. Brothers fearing for the life of their sister added that the case had been reported to the police while the family had resolved to take legal action against the alleged wife-beater.
