Hit-men from Mexico’s most dangerous drug cartel have recorded themselves beheading a captive in a horrifying ISIS-style execution video.
The thugs are members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), led by the country’s most wanted criminal in Nemesio ‘El Mencho’ Cervantes.
In the first of two clips circulating online, the young male captive likely affiliated with a rival gang is forced to issue a declaration on behalf of the CJNG.
“Mr. Mencho and the Jalisco New Generation Cartel is the f***ing boss here in the state of Michoacán and throughout all of Mexico,” he says.
“This will be the fate of everyone involved in bulls***.”
The second video, which lasts around 10 seconds, shows the hit-men hacking the man’s head off with a machete.
It is still very clear what is happening despite the fact that emojis have been placed over most of the gore, presumably so the videos weren’t immediately taken down from social media sites.
Reports say the song heard playing in the second clip is Clika Nostra by Mexican rap group Cartel de Santa.
The tune tells the story of dangerous gangsters from Northern Mexico who execute thieves.
A caption on the video reads “4letras” meaning “four letters”, in reference to the CJNG.
This isn’t the first time hit-men from the infamous cartel have released videos mimicking Jihadi gore propaganda clips.
