Bris death: Upcoming rapper dies aged 24 following shooting. Bris, known for his songs Panhandling, Sparked a Fuse, and Lightning McQueen, has died aged 24.
The Sacramento performer , real name Christopher Treadwell, died on 21 June, after he was fatally shot.
According to Sacramento Police, officers responded to a report of shots fired at approximately 12:42 a.m. on Sunday near Franklin Boulevard and Fruitridge Road. A statement continued: ‘Officers arrived on scene and located a male adult who had sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound’
‘The victim was pronounced deceased on scene. Officers also determined that there was a related solo vehicle collision that had occurred prior to the shooting.’ The performer had a prolific career over the last year, having released his mixtape 10:42 in collaboration with G-Man, which preceded one-off singles. Just last week, he released a video for his new single “Need Hammy”.
Tributes have poured in for the rapper following his death with one writing on social media: ’RIP Bris.
