Convener of the #RevolutionNow movement and president Sahararepoters, Omoyele Sowore, has slammed presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu, after he apologised for understating the number of schoolboys kidnapped from the Government Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State.
Shehu had taken to his social media pages to apologise for claiming that only 10 schoolboys were abducted from the school by members of the Boko Haram terrorist group last week.
He wrote, “I apologize for the incorrect communication citing that only 10 students were kidnapped at the science school, Kankara
“This communication of numbers was provided by persons that should ideally know. These numbers were seen to conflict with what was available at that time.
“Please understand that this communication was in no way done to downplay the seriousness of the situation.
“Please accept my sincere apologies on this matter as we continue to move our great Nation Nigeria forward. Thank you,” added the presidential aide.
But Sowore responding, described Shehu as a perpetual liar who has allegedly become obsessed with telling lies.
The Sahara Reporters publisher wrote directly under Shehu’s Facebook post:
“Your case is beyond apologies, you’ve become an apology of a person! It is too late for you! You lie to cover lies and you are so obsessed with lying so much that you now do so effortlessly and without shame!”
